Brenda a professional freelance makeup artist is the founder and owner of just B Cosmetics, a custom blending makeup bar and gift boutique, located in Sacramento, California.

With more than 20 years in the beauty business and as the former owner of an award winning day spa in Carmichael, Brenda shares her significant hands-on experience with her clients. Brenda brings this expertise to you to help positively impact how you feel about yourself!

Color being her first love, Brenda’s specialty is matching women with the perfect foundation shade and customizing the formula for the individual’s unique skin type. Brenda’s beauty philosophy is “Be one in a million, not one of a million”

Brenda is passionate about teaching and sharing this makeup philosophy and developing the tools women need to do this with ease! Naturally Holobi was a perfect fit with this philosophy. DRES Face Styling is key to allowing all the beautiful peices to fall into place.

My first discovery of how I wasn’t ‘showing up’ the way I wanted to be seen and heard. I immediately gave Brenda a call and she came and rescued me. What a difference! I almost fell over at the difference. It was subtle, because Brenda knew I didn’t do makeup, so she met me with where I was and came up with a quick 5 minute system for me to be able to show up as the professional that I am.

Since Brenda helped me ‘show up’ I have had others say to me ‘ you are a new woman’. I have even been interviewed on television – talking about my area of expertise – making learning easy for everyone – and I looked good. I had no idea how important showing up professionally with just a bit of makeup on made such a difference. Again, it’s not much makeup. In fact my daughter just thinks I’m wearing lipstick, but I know better. My face just glows. People take me seriously as a businesswoman.
